Human doubts and wish for control cause us to differ in our faith
we can all read the same passage and come to our own conclusion. We cant all agree on what adultery is. This is why we bicker and have confusion.
Good Luck and God Bless!!

Well back when God set up the Ten Commandments people were stoned to death or cut off from his/her people for the sins they committed. They were set up because His people were a group for the first time and they needed rules to help govern them. But unfortunately, it was impossible to fulfill the Law completely.
That is why Jesus came, because the law could not help people get to Heaven. He came, not to abolish the Law, but to fulfill it by giving us grace and mercy by dying for our sins.
Sadly, we Christians bicker back and forth because each person wants to be right, but the real reason for true Christians is to get closer to the Truth.
This may not seem helpful but neither is just the Law.

Read the Bible dear. The 10 Commandments aren't the only commands that the Lord makes. Those are just the ones from the Old Testament. Jesus said I didn't come to do away with the new law but to fulfill it... and also he added to it. My suggestion to everyone with questions to the Bible. READ IT. Front to back. You WILL NOT have any more questions after you do.

the 10 commandments are based on the old testament. Christians are based on new testament, he gave 2 greatest commandments which encompasses all and fills the gaps of the 10 old commandments. Christians are also human beings, bound to err, hence Christ was sent to guide you back to the Father.

Tell me where in the Bible it says follow only my 10 commandments. I think it says follow all my comandments, the 10 is what God gave Moses to give to the people to follow ontop of the rules they already had.

Nothing is clear any more. Peoples minds are so full of hate and corruption that they can't even see through all the B.S. Organized religion is a crock. God is inside you, right and wrong come from within. You don't need a room full of hypocrites to know good values from sin.

What bickering?
The 10 commandments were an outline. There was and is discussion about the interpretation.
Discussion is good for people. There should be more of it, not less.

The ten commandments were given to a man 4000 years ago, meant for a certain people who had certain issues 4000 years ago. I'm sure it was perfect for the people of the time, but even if they help us, how can we say it's all we need now?
