has the dateing game and practices there in become more single minded in the few decades?

people say that my generation (x generation and y) has become compleatly focused on sex in the dateing world do you think its always been this way ?

No I do not. I think dating was to find a mate and someone to marry. Now It doesnt seem to be important to marry. This is causing a lot of children to be born without any chance at having loving parents to raise them. Single parent families with parents who are often to young to know what they did.

well,my father,in his late 60`s,said his primary goal in dating was to score,and he was doing this in the 1950`s,as all his friends were,so,no,in dating ,sex,at least for the male,was always the prime objective of dating.I just think that recently,it became much more obvious.
