I wouldn't do either.
Lemons/Limes are sometimes be served with beers from mexico. The reason was that it was served in a bottle in Mexico - a country with questionable sanitation in areas in the past. You could rub the fruit around the neck/lip of the bottle and the acid from the lemon would kill the bacteria. The habit carried over when the beers came to this country because people didn't know why they did it and got to like the taste.
A thin slice of lemons is sometimes served with Weizen. The history of this is not known and is being frowned upon now in Germany by the beer purists who believe strongly in the Reinheisgebot (German Beer Purity Law). The lemon will kill the head pretty quick, so I'm guessing this is why it started - though Weizen was popular in the 1600s when they didn't know what a microbe was, so it could be the same reason as Corona.
I have heard of ice in beer - there are impurities that could interact with the flavors, and it will water the beer down, but other than that it isn't dangerous.
Heineken comes in a green bottle from overseas. The green bottle lets in 1/3 of the UV rays of clear (but brown bottles let in 1/10 the UV rays). So the beer gets skunky from being light struck (this is why Amstel tastes better, even though they are both made by the same company). A trick you can do to get rid of most of the skunk is to pour it in a glass down the center and let that head release the skunky odor. My suspicion is that someone started using the citric acid in the fruit to get rid of the surface tension of the protiens that form the head, just like with Weizens.
In short, you shouldn't dilute or pervert your beer as it wasn't intended to be enjoyed that way by the people who made it for you. But it's your beer - you bought it, so do what you damned well want.

I don't drink heineken by choice. Too skunky for me. Lemon can dull the bad parts of cheaper beer, so it may be good with heineken. Traditional brewers would be offended if you added a lemon to their beer - they try to make it perfect on it's own merit.
I've never had beer with ice.

I can't stand Heineken beer, and I don't like lemon in beer. I've always been a Miller Light girl. Now give me a Zima or an ICE, and that would be a yes on the lemon (lime's even better).
I don't put ice in beer. If it gets warm, it's best to just chug it and get another cold one.
