No, definately not. But everyone has a different point of view. I would not want to ask a question that dealt with major issues (ie. medical, etc.) but having different opinions and finding out some new things about non serious topics is ok.

Not at all. I have just begun answering questions and I see people pushing their own agendas, or being outright rude and derisive.

I have felt the need to add extra information to my answers because other people used the most basic answer or used a source that was suspect. I do not expect anyone to regard my answers as more than my personal opinion, but I feel that I make a good effort to answer the question asked, while using logic and reason to support my answer, and then I put in some information for the person to think further on, as many questions asked are not what the querent is truly seeking resolution for; that is the question may be part of a greater question, or may be a veiled and indirect way of asking a different question. I suspect that some people are whipping through to earn points, or are getting their kicks by rudeness or silliness. And of course there are those that just desperately seek attention.

trust is something you shouldn't give to anyone...i don't trust all of the "answerers" here...i don't really need to trust to know a good opinion or two...the thing is some "answerers" really seem to be nice people and have very good opinions as well as good intentions

Trust...wow now thats a big word...
of course it depends on question.
i am disaapointed when i dont have the right answer or silly ones but hey some of them are funny.

and there is always" Ask a stupid question get a equally idiotic answer":)

So ask a question. choose with Logic and something called common sense:)

I think many of us who are asking opinion questions are just looking to find the marjority agrees with them - and those asking information questions have the option of taking the majority as correct or researching a particular answer themselves. I don't think it is a matter of trust really - do you?

Who said anything about trust?...I like the international involvement with a wide audience...not trust...I don't ask questions that require that.

Answers are written by people - and people are flawed. Take insight from answers and use discression, you dont have to full out trust every answer you recieve. Just like this one... I'm full of propaganda... so don;t believe me, or you will become a nazi.

Now use your discression.
