and like getting scholarships? I have attempted researching this stuff but it didn't say much besides the fact that juniors are not emocionally, physically ready for college. I don't really like high school thus far. I will be going into my sophmore year. Freshman year i got involved in drama and Model UN: and plan to stay in Model UN only for the rest of high school. Colleges look at activities- will this influene it in a bad way; lack of involvement? I don't know how many colleges will take early high school students. I just need some advice about early graduation. thankx

As long as you graduate and meet all the requirements in terms of number of credits and GPA, you're considered to have completed the high school curriculum and should be considered equal to any students a year older than you. Colleges are not heavily influenced by extra-curricular activities except when it comes to scholarships. It shouldn't affect your admission to the school. It could be a negative point against you if you have only three years of an activity instead of four, but you can compensate for that by looking for other volunteer activities, or taking on positions of responsibility (be the UN Secretary-General instead of the representative from Lesotho... or whatever).

the first theory that got here to my concepts upon interpreting this submit grow to be a million. WHY is college guidance fee is united states ridiculously severe priced? WHY do colleges choose a lot money? a college isn't a corporation like Apple or Microsoft. My sister will graduate from her 4 years of faculty quickly and the full coast of teaching pee paid for the period of those 4 years....is OMG too a lot. the quantity is amazingly almost as a lot because the U.S. nationwide debt. 2. do colleges really favor a impressive form of money? 3. united states is presently dealing with an monetary disaster; that's anticipated to be between the worst ever in U.S. heritage. So unemployment is a increasing difficulty, the economy is getting spoiled and there are extra chance free voters suffering under the poverty line. and that i'm not antagonistic to the authorities in spite of the undeniable fact that the federal authorities would not look sorting it out properly. i do not comprehend that a lot about the ecnonomy, so I discovered from my sister (she's a corporation / economics significant) and that i visit inform that the rustic, the economy etc are all dealing with a disaster. Soo....i do not comprehend yet except the authorities provides to love help the adverse pay for faculty or some thing I strongly recommend that schools do not enhance guidance costs. in the different case...united states will face a good worse academic disaster. Does the stuff I typed make sense? wish it does. And......the reliable information is that the severe priced guidance fee paid to an outstanding college grow to be truly properly worth it on condition that my sister were given an outstanding pastime 2 weeks earlier commencement.

My city has an awesome program that I did. For your JR. and SR. year you can go to the communty college high school program and just take like english and math with the high school teacher who are awesome and then the other 4 or 5 classes you can take college classes that they pay for all you have to do is pay for the books. What a deal! Anyway I had a friend my Jr. year that graduated early, she even walked with the seniors that year and then got accepted into the local University. They wont look at you like your bad for getting out and finishing high school early. The only thing they will think is wow this person knows what their doing and dosn't what to waste any time. They are goal oreninted and dedicated. I think it is a great oppurnity I personal didn't like high school either. I went to a really large school where you were basically coralled though the hallways while you were watched but campus police like you were going to start a riot or something. I never met any of the administration and never even knew the name of my principal for people the high school scene just isn't for them. e-mail me if you have any other Q's JesusfreakLV@yahoo.com
