1. Sweet, ripe, juicy organic strawberries.
2. Fresh organic asparagus, oven-roasted in extra virgin olive oil.
3. Herb roasted free-range chicken.
So if I'm limited to three, I have to stop there. But I would complement all that with a good Chilean malbec (which is a beverage, not a food) and some dark belgian chocolate (which is a heavenly substance, not a food), and I could live on that quite happily.

Sharwarma. It's a Lebanese dish, oven-baked pita bread wrap with mouth-watering slices of tender meat that has slowly grilled on a rotating spit, marinaded in a concoction of subtle but wonderful smelling spices, and usually with fats and juices and oil running down over and under the layers of meat while it's being spun slowly in a glowing hot upright grill. Usually there's a lemon and onion on the top to further add to the flavour of the meat.
Add lettuce, onions, chopped roma tomatoes, stuff generously with kebab meat and wrap in pita bread. Add spicy garlic chilli or the arabic version of chilli called "Shata", and boom, you're in heaven.
Hyderabadi Briyani. I don't have to get to a restuarant to get this because my fiance is of Indian descent, and cooks a mean, authentic briyani!
Having tasted it, all the other Indian restuarants not in India has briyanis that taste worse than cardboard - they'd never sell their food in India or risk being stoned to death by hordes of angry briyani loving Indians! :)
It's a wonderfully cooked dish, made from basmati rice (long grained), marinaded and cooked with a medley of rich spices that add great flavour and richness to the meal, and simmered in masala, chunks of chicken, then mixed. Potato, carrots, onions, and ginger-garlic paste is also added.
The meat marinades the rice, the rice marinades the meat, the masala marinades everything, the aromatic spices get into everything else.
What comes out? A delicious meal I could just eat everyday, especially with yoghurt chutney.
Dim Sum. I can eat Dim Sum everyday, with tea. No problem. I'm sure Dim Sum needs no introduction, since everyone knows what these Hong Kong lunch delicacies are.
OR
GuanDong dumplings. They're basically potstickers and I love them to bits, whether they're boiled or pan-fried, with rice vinegar and chopped ginger.
Subtle, delicate and wonderfully deep.
OR
Soy-sauce chicken with black mushrooms
I love love love this popular home-cooked dish, made with soy sauce, ginger paste, onions, a few spices, marinaded black mushrooms and serves with fragrant jasmine rice.
