Bless us O Lord, and these Thy gifts
which we are about to receive through the bounty of Christ, our Lord.
May the Lord provide for all of us
and bestow upon the fruit of our souls. Amen.

For what we are about to receive
May the Lord make us truly thankful,
Amen

(Not a song, just a prayer)

Oh my...the song one sung to Edelweiss was GREAT! THANK YOU POSTER!

I usually make one up. I'll include any special stuff, like family on the road (for safety), illness or any blessings we've received.

God is great, God is good, let us thank Him for this food. Amen (Great for Kids)

"Come Lord Jesus our guest to be and bless these gifts bestowed by Thee. Amen"

or if you want the full to the last one

"Come Lord Jesus our guest to be and bless these gifts bestowed by Thee. Bless our loved ones everywhere and keep them in Thy loving care. Amen."

Last one is a Moravian prayer

My prayers are spontaneous from the heart and not learned rhetorics.

Oh Lard,

We just wanna tell you how thankful we are...for all this here food.
Just bless it, and we just wanna say that we hope you'll just turn us into your servants and just have your way with us. And we just pray for Aunt Barbara, who was just hospitalized for her gangrene. Just take that cup of suffering away from her, and we just pray that you would restore her to health, just like she was. Just send this food into our stomachs and we just pray that you'd just send your word into our hearts too.
