Beef Stew
Yields: 10 servings
"Beef, carrots, potatoes and celery are seasoned with rosemary and parsley in this simple, stovetop stew."
INGREDIENTS:
2 pounds cubed beef stew
meat
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
4 cubes beef bouillon,
crumbled
4 cups water
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
3 large potatoes, peeled and
cubed
4 carrots, cut into 1 inch pieces
4 stalks celery, cut into 1 inch
pieces
1 large onion, chopped
2 teaspoons cornstarch
2 teaspoons cold water
DIRECTIONS:
1. In a large pot or dutch oven, cook beef in oil over medium heat until brown. Dissolve bouillon in water and pour into pot. Stir in rosemary, parsley and pepper. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour.
2. Stir potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion into the pot. Dissolve cornstarch in 2 teaspoons cold water and stir into stew. Cover and simmer 1 hour more.

I use a crock pot!
EASY BEEF STEW
1 1/2-2 lbs of stew meat
1 packet of Lipton dried onion soup mix
2 potatoes, chopped and peeled if you wish
2 carrots, chopped and peeled if you wish
1 celery, chopped
1 tsp fresh or dried herbs like oregano, basil, cumin.
1 bay leaf, optional
3 tsp corn starch
In the crock pot add the onion soup mix, corn starch (or 5 tsp flour), the herbs and 2 cans of water.
Mix until dissolved. Add the meat, the veggies and mix.
Add additonal water til its barely covering the veggies.
Turn on crock pot on med/low at 8 am, by 6 pm its done.

1 tablespoon paprika
salt and pepper to taste
2 cups beef broth
1 1/2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce
1 onion, chopped
3 carrots, sliced
1 stalk celery, sliced
2 potatoes, cubed
1/2 pound mushrooms, quartered
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 bay leaf

DIRECTIONS:
Place beef stew meat into a slow cooker. In a small bowl, mix together flour, paprika, salt, and pepper; sprinkle over beef stew meat, stirring to coat. Stir in beef broth, teriyaki sauce, onion, carrots, celery, potatoes, mushrooms, garlic and bay leaf.
Cover, and cook on Low 6 hours, stirring occasionally.

ACTUALLY IT DEPENDS ON WHAT VEGGIES U ADD BUT I START OUT W MY STEW MEAT AND BROWN THE BEEF CHUNKS W LOTS OF CUT UP GARLIC AND ONION, THEN I ADD THREE CUPS OF WATER AND SIMMER FOR 2 HOURS ADDING ONE CUP OF WATER AS TEH OTHER EVAPORATES, I CUT UP CELERY, CARROTS, ONION , GARLIC, AND POTATOES LET THEM SIMMER ABOUT 30 MINUTES THEN ADD SOME YELLOQ SQUASH, CORN , ZUCHINI AND CHOPPED TOATOES. I THEN SEASON W SALT PEPPER GARLIC POWDER AND THREE TOMATOE CHICKEN BULLION CUBES. LAST TEN MINUTES I ADD ONE TEASPOON HOT SAUCE AND TWO TEASPONS OF LEMON I KNOW THSI SOUNDS ODD BUT TRY IT ULL LIKE I GUARENTEE
