Africa is an enormous continent ,with many countries .
the North is mostly Islam,and from the center down it is different religions .Christianity in parts ,the most of them being in South Africa.there are many cultures represented ,including Hindu.Voodo.african religions ,and various types of Christianity .

Islam is probably the most numerous if you considder the whole of Africa.

North Africa has a lot of countries which are majority Muslim but there has been a christian revival. Here in South Africa majority are Christian. Africa is still plagued by witchcraft though.

if u refer to the religion identity... there's so many statistic about it. but if u refer to their faith... well... *uhm* in every country religion is a heredity factor isn't it? if the parents is christian, their kids most likely become a christian. if the parents is moslem, their kids most likely become a moslem. etc.
