Yes. That's why the litter can't be registered with either the AKC or CKC if the female was exposed to more than one male durring her cycle.

I had a dog who had 12 puppies and there were three fathers. Each one of the male dogs family took 2 each of the puppies.

I can't say. My dog is fixed, has been fixed for years, and will continue to be fixed, so he have never had a problem with him being a father or part of a father. So needless to say I have no immidiate experience with it but a relative did have a chiwahua that mated with both a chiwahua and a toy poodle around the same time and had very funky results. So, I guess you could say it is a possibility.

Yes they can. It ruins the chance of registering the pups. That's why you have to watch the female at all times. I had a female Boxer and she was bred with a Boxer stud. She got out when I had a baby sitter and mated with the Collie down the street! I could have died........It was weird, half the litter looked like pure bred Boxers and half looked like a very ugly long furred mess.

The vet had offered to abort the litter, but I couldn't do it. Also in that litter she produced an all white Boxer.

Each egg can be fertilized by a different sperm. First sperm to the egg wins. Some sperm swim faster than others. So the answer is yes. Each puppy could in theory, could have a different father.
