I can't seem to have my sales letter ( index page) to be followed by the thank you page, followed by the software, etc. You think I can be helped ?

When you want to link one page from the page you are in
You need to insert the following kind of instruction in the 1st page

go to yahoo

When you open your 1st page in something like notepad, you see a lot of instructions like the one I mentioned. Infact your page now looks very different than how it actually looks to you.
This instruction must be inserted somewhere in the page now.
Go ahead and experiment. Insert it somewhere. Save it and then reopen the page in internet explorer. See whether you see a link called "go to yahoo" and if on clicking on that link, you go to yahoo.

Once you have found a place in your file where the link looks right. Now go ahead and insert the name of the file that you want there. For example, you actually want the link of the "Thank you" page.

So you should write something like this

Thanks!

Here I am assuming that thanks.html is the name of the file you created as the thank you page.

Keep continuing from here... All the best!

ps: Remove the spaces I inserted in the www.yahoo etc. I did that to get around yahoo's stupid rule on not rendering URL's correctly

on your index page you would put a link like this.

thank you

that will send people to the thank you page.

on the thank you page you would put a link like this that would lead to software page

software
This was written following your order of listing..

If you want it to be automatic you'd need some kind of script.
like javascript or php.

without not knowing what you have going on, I could only give a general answer but that would do it.
If you have site to show what you want you could post it or write
