God is eternal, meaning that He had no beginning. This is somewhat beyond our comprehension. We can acknowledge it as fact, but we cannot really wrap our minds around its meaning fully.

This will help you understand why God is Eternal:

If Nothing always existed, there would still be Nothing. So, we know that Something had to have existed. That Something had to have had the ability to produce Something Else. That Something also had to be greater than the Something Else it produced or it would be all that exists today.

The Something at the very beginning will always be greater than the Something Else it produces. The Something exists on its own. Something Else, however, needs Something to exist. Therefore, Something Else has needs. It is therefore inferior to Something, and will always be so, for the Something has no need of another. Something is eternal.

If this Something has any needs, It can fulfill those needs for Itself. It needs nothing else in order to exist. And It cannot produce an exact equal or another who is greater. Anything that is produced is not eternal. Therefore, the Eternal Something cannot produce another Eternal Something. It will always be greater than anything else that exists.

The concept of God is beyond our brains to comprehend. Religious founders have tried to explain God in human-understandable terms so that believers can benefit just from having the faith. And that is a fact - one can derive joy and strength simply through the act of having faith in a religion. Perhaps God is an all pervasive supreme intelligence of which our souls are a part of. Somewhat like a drop is a part of an ocean. In the end the drop merges back into the ocean.

God is a being no source is able to record His timeline, and you cannot deny His existance like you cannot deny air into your lungs. If God were a form of Energy, would you DARE to say that He WAS CREATED?
You know, even Energy itself as an existant item, people don't dare to question where it comes from. As Sir Isaac Newton mentioned, "Energy cannot be created or destroyed but only transformed...", so is God.
I hope this will give you understanding that certain things are not questionable like the existance of God and His origin.

God IS real, Princessof Antar, He's alive and well. He always existed, He never had a beginning. He's the One who created everything that you see. HE'S the One who created something out of nothing, i.e., the earth, matter, the atom etc. He created the laws of physics so He's not bound to them like we are. He's pure, undefiled love. And He loves you more then you can ever know.

If one nibbles the cookie around the edges they eventually come to the center. If one asks for infinite regressions of what came from what and what was it that that came one can put the cookie back together again.
Freddie N said God is dead because we have killed God by our lack of belief. Can we, therefore, create God by our belief? If so, God did not come from nothing, God came from us and we are in his image.
Now on to the important issue of how we treat each other.

Here is the fun part. He always was. He always will be.
Try this in your imagination...

Before He created the universe, God and His angels existed but without light. (since He created it in the book of genesis)
This meant that He and His angels saw in ways that exceeded our abilities. This means that heaven exists in a way that is beyond our physical world to comprehend.
Also from the book of genesis, no mortal man may see God and live. His presence is too great for human perception. Adam and Eve could face him because in Eden, they were immortal until they were banished.
Moses was physically changed simply by viewing a small portion of Gods' presence.
To sum up-
Before God created the universe, He, his angels and heaven existed and always had. That scope of time alone and the timelessness before time was created, is beyond us.

Yes God is real, and He didn't tell us where He came from. Therefore He is something, and We all came from Him. Faith is believing in that which You know to be true, but have never seen. All anyone has to do is look around to see His works in their everyday life, the beautiful smiles of children, the vastness of the sky, the power of the sun, the rippling of a stream, or the complete caring and compassion of a Friend, or loved One.

I agree with the person that said that God has always existed. There's a question to ask God when you die- it's just too bad that only you will know the answer then.

Is love real ? and where did it come from ?
God is King all the good spirits , and the devil the opposite.
Love was always there, and was discovered by man in life, just as God was, is and always will be.
