How can I get my 2 dogs a dog license? Animal control came to my house today and said that I needed a dog license. They are coming back next week to check if I have the license. How do I get one for my dogs? I know nothing about this.

You get them at the town hall where you live. You'll probably have to bring them proof of rabies vaccination.

Dog licenses are available from the Town Clerk after January 1 of each year. They may be obtained by mail or in person. Mail-in requests should include a self-addressed stamped envelope. To contact the Town Clerk call (978) 456-4100 X 16 or email to jvellante@harvard.ma.us.

To purchase a dog license, you will need to provide the following:
History of prior licenses
Your name, address and phone number
Current rabies inoculation certificate, good for the entire licensing period.
A certificate of sterility if your dog has been spayed or neutered (altered). This will reduce your dog license fee. The certificate must be shown at the time of purchase to receive the reduced rate.

Here in Wa state we get them from the humane society. Why didn't youu ask the animal control officer? Look up animal control, call them and ask where you go to get one.
Oh and the tag you get from the vet for a rabies shot is NOT a dog license!!

In my area I get them from the vet after the dogs get their rabies shots. Call the local health department.

I think that you can go to the police department. You have to show proof of their shots and see the rabies tags.

Well, I would assume you would have to help him/her study for the test to his/her license. After that I'd say it depends on if he/she passed... LOL... J/K...
