When I think I, and others like me, once gave him/her the ultimate slap in the face by trying to escape our fate? I think we "saved" the world from destruction a long time ago, but we were really just trying to save ourselves. All the suffering taking place nowadays is because of that. Earth wasn't meant to last, but we wanted to keep it for ourselves...

I've spent the last few years thinking real hard about science and religion and ancient lore trying to tie it all together. I've figured many things out, but after doing so I found a lot of resentment towards God built up inside myself. I try to tell everyone as much as I know as possible, even though I know these things are the knowledge that regular men were never meant to have, just hoping that if enough people know then we'd be able to prevent our destruction once again.

I think I commited the ultimate sin in my past life. How do you ask God for forgiveness from that?

Jesus didn't take part of our sins to the cross; He took ALL OUR SINS. He is waiting for you to return to Him. If you confess your sins, He is faithful to forgive you. Just ask Him.

Ask him straight out tell him how you feel and in humility, ask in the name of Jesus, also I think you really need to get to know God and his purpose you might then I think, find that your resentment toward God is missplaced, and God really wants to help us and to get to know him accurately John17:3 there is a way to prevent our destruction it is through humbly getting to know and learning about God and his Son JesusThrough Bible study John17:3 if you feel you have sinned then in humility ask forgivness from God as he is ready to forgive and he wants all to come to an accurate knowledge of him and his purpose, and if you repent he will forgive you. You think ccording to your statement that earth wasn't meant to last but where do you get that idea from because Romans 12:31 says otherwiseand so does psalm37:11&29 another scripture you might like to see is Revelation21:4 it tells us of the plans God has in relieving the troubles that people are dealing with today in the world and that soon he will change the world situation and bring relief from all the suffering in this world but not by destroying the earth as the first scriptures show. I don't know if I totally understood your question appart from asking for forgivness, so I may not have answered it totally but if that is the case you can always email me to elaborate on the question and ask for more of an answer!

If your of Christian belief there is no past life to ask forgiveness for, just the sins of this life. The bible says we are all sinners and Jesus is the way to salvation. Pray in the name of the holy trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit. Belief in Jesus Christ is the the freedom your looking for. Religion means nothing without having a personal relationship with God. The lords prayer is a good place to start. Our Father who art in heaven hollowed be thy name thy kingdom thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our tresspasses as we forgive those who tresspass against us lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil for thine is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever and ever Amen

I was a drug addict for the last 12 years, I 've done some pretty bad stuff to support my habits, but now that I 've been saved with the blood of Jesus Christ, I know I've been forgiven. I see so many things change in my life on a daily basis...things I could never imagine!!!! It's awesome. All you have to do is believe and keep the faith. He moved mountains, He can save you, He'll forgive anyone that asks Him to. Try it, you'll see.

Pray to be forgiven. Have faith in Jesus and all he has done and all God did through him. Know that Jesus will forgive you when you ask him for forgiveness, and sin no more. You will sin again though, because we all fall short of Gods glory. So just keep trying to not sin and pray for forgiveness when you do sin.

We have to forgive others for God to forgive us. This is what we say when we pray the Lord's Prayer (also known as the "Our Father" prayer). As much as we forgive others is how much God will forgive us.

Sincerely repent, asking God for forgiveness, and have a firm resolve not to sin again. Then, if you are Catholic, go to confession and do penance.

If later you sin again, repeat the steps above, but again, have it in your heart and mind that you intend not to sin again. Then God will forgive you again because God's mercy is infinite.

in the quran God said:-

53. The Star

31.
Yea, to Allah belongs all that is in the heavens and on earth: so that He rewards those who do evil, according to their deeds, and He rewards those who do good, with what is best.

32.
Those who avoid great sins and shameful deeds, only (falling into) small faults,- verily thy Lord is ample in forgiveness. He knows you well when He brings you out of the earth, And when ye are hidden in your mothers' wombs. Therefore justify not yourselves: He knows best who it is that guards against evil.

Get off your can and do some volunteer work for a worthy cause. One can only conclude you aren't kept sufficiently industrious. Stop with the navelgazing already. Now, move away from the computer...

Well if you do believe in God, then simply pray. All sin is equal, and as long as you repent and ask forgiveness, God will forgive you.

Ask forgiveness by saying, "I'm back again God. You are probably sick of seeing me since I have asked fifteen times today already. And yes, I'm still arrogant as Satan, still condescending to non-Christians, still an intolerant bigot unlike your kid Jesus, and I still get so angry when people disagree with me that I could just kill them for your sake. But still, I'm really sorry for getting caught ripping off my neighbor and if you get me out of trouble again, I will be eternally grateful. Amen."
But first get off the street corner, stop beating your breast, go into the closet, shut the door and say, "God, um, you know."
