First give thanks and praise. Open your heart and be straight forward with your prayers. Remember to pray for others. God is pleased that you are even praying, that shows faith in itself. Don't ramble about the same thing over and over. He knows what you need and want. Some people believe the more words they say the more chance of God answering your prayers. That's not the truth. He already knows. Have faith that you don't need to repeat the same thing to him. Also, remember that he will take care of you and answer your prayers. Have faith when you pray! God Bless!

By being sincere and honest, praying from the heart. God does not expect nor desire eloquent words or Hallmark poetry - he desires it from the heart.
If you overhear someone praying a beautiful prayer - don't compare yourself to them. Some such people are phonies with a gift for words - some are sincere with a gift of words.
God loves the honest prayer, not pretensions so please dont worry about anything more than using your own words. He really does love you for you.

We're all different, and our prayer lives will be different.. Our life circumstances are different too. Don't be shy about asking God for help with you prayers. He is willing to help you with anything. If you need help with your prayer life be honest with him he will help you.

This is what Matthew 6:5-8 says about prayer:
"And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by men. I tell you the truth, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you. And when you pray, do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him."

you must come to God as a humble person, realizing that you are dependent upon God for everything. next keep it simple and honest. if you've sinned, ask for forgiveness. if you need help with something, ask for it. but you must believe that God hears your prayers and that everything works out for the good of those who love God.

Just open your heart. Don't think about what you're saying to Him, just say it. Think it. He knows your heart anyway, and trust me, He's pleased that your'e even praying. Maybe you should be asking yourself how can I make my actions more pleasing to God. We should all ask ourselves that question. God bless!
