This is my usual response to people who screech this stupid slogan: "Yes, dear. We know this. We don't care anymore. And anyway, that isn't going to make gays magically disappear, so stop shrieking it to the heavens. It's falling on deaf ears. Besides, you sound like a ******* five-year-old. The only one you're insulting is yourself. And anyway, what people do behind closed doors is none of your business. If your religion truly says it's a sin, that's between them and God, not you."
I'm not even gay and I'm sick and tired of it. Seriously. Grow up and get a life.
Sorry that it's not really a question, but I just had to get that off my chest.

And Eve was the first transgender... genetically male (from Adam's rib), God made her into the woman she knew she was.
That's why Adam had been so depressed, he wasn't so much lonely, as struggling with a rib that had a gender identity crisis.
And, anyway, what's wrong with calling one of your ribs, Steve? At least it doesn't have the poking fun at connotation as in "He was ribbed, mercilessly..."

It wasn't effective or actually relevant when I first heard it over 20 years ago.
The "it's not natural because God didn't make us that way," argument has always had holes the size of a great lake in it.
God didn't make humans with wheels or wings, but it doesn't stop most people from flying or driving a car.

It's funny that one would choose to use Adam and Eve to mount any sort of argument, since tradition tells us that they are responsible for death, pain in childbirth, the need to cultivate land, and Original sin. They also gave birth to that great do-good-er Cain, who killed his brother and pretty much told God to piss off. So maybe if it had been Adam and Steve, they wouldn't have disobeyed the one order of not eating the apple, and we would be happy-go lucky, (dare I use the word in its original meaning?) gay inhabitants of a splendorous garden wonderland.

I'm really sick of it too, which is why I laughed when I saw an ad online for this indie film called "Adam and Steve". It never played in my area, but I'm waiting for it to come out on DVD.

Every time someone says that I get the urge to choke them. It's so effing annoying, especially when not everyone (read: me) is Christian and does not believe in Adam and Eve.

My response of choice is:
Of course not Adam and Steve....
Never Adam and Steve....
...Adam and Stephen.
It's just easier for people to type in bumper stickers than have a thought of their own.

well, it worked great for my boyfriend's and my costumes for halloween a few years back.
i took beige longjohns, treaded some fake costume shop hair thru the chest, and sewed a large fig leaf in front of the crotch of each. the kicker for the costume set was bringing my snake, tonguedancer, with us. we were voted most disturbing costume.

I agree 100% and have said it several times in my reponses to other people. It's over used and inaccurate.
