So far I've lost 4 pounds and it's been a couple of weeks since i last went on the scale and i haven't lost any weight i'm still eating right and exercising, but i can see a difference in the way my clothes fit me. So my question is, can you not see a change on the scale but see the difference?

Don't give up! You are probably just retaining water. Your body is trying to get used to your new eating habits and is trying to protect itself from dehydration. Continue to drink plenty of fluids and in a few days, you'll start peeing like crazy and along with that, you'll lose several more pounds. Good work!

Yes, weight can be shifted and toned in a balanced manner. It could be that you are turning the fat into muscle equally where you will notice little or no change on the scale. If you are doing any weight training, you may begin to notice a weight increase but still see how good you are looking and this is because muscle weighs more than fat.....I know this because it happened to me when I started going to the gym years ago when I had a weight problem. Keep on doing what you been doing and good luck!

using a scale is not a good idea, a tape measure is a much more accurate way to keep track of how well you are losing size, not weight. If you see that your clothes are getting loose, you are doing it right. If you feel better about yourself, you are doing it right. The scale will do nothing but get you down.

You're toning up. Reshapin your muscles and sometimes the fat burns slower and muscle weighs just a little more than fat. Think about it this way -- you can always lie about your weight as long as you look hot in your jeans. Keep up the good work.

Of course! You're just turning fat into muscle so even if the scale doesn't say it, you are looking better.

Yes. You may be replacing fat with muscle. This may cause an improvement in your physique without a loss in weight.
