My ears do the same thing. From what I know, from my anatomy class, is that your ears are connected to your nasal cavaties and downward to your stomach. The ear canals help you with your balance. When you hear them pop, they are doing their job, stabalizing pressure from the outside in.

I have only had a couple of ear infections in my lifetime. I can guarantee you that this is just your body doing its job, unless of course you are sick. And eventually you would find out!

You open the Eustachiam Tube when you swallow which changes the pressure in the middle ear.

Excess fluid in the ear. My daughter has this problem too. She had multiple ear infections when she was little. She eventually had tubes put in at about 4 years old. Now her ears produce ALOT of very dark brown wax. I have taken her to her pediatrician who assured me that this was not a problem. She said it's good that the wax is coming out, because then it could not impact inside her ear.

are you in a different altitude then normally? that happens to me when we go to Canada (higher elevation) and it also happens when I fly (higher elevation also) so that may have something to do with it. Or it may be because of allergies. If the pressure is building that quickly, you may want to head to the docs. . . . good luck!
