IF I AM ALLOWED TO PUT CAMERAS ON MY HOUSE FOR PROTECTION AND DETERENCE, THEN I THINK THAT IS A GOOD IDEA BUT THAT WILL COST ALOT OF $$$ AND COMPANIES THAT ARE HIRING ILLEGALS SHOULD PAY FOR ANY DEBT THAT COMES FROM BEEFING UP BORDER SECURITY!!!!

I don't think the cameras will work - they will be stolen or vandalized and, like hayleylov says, will just tip the coyotes off as to where the cameras are located. No, need something more substantial than that, for sure. Might make US citizens feel like they are contributing by being able to sit and watch the cameras on their computers, but it will just be another smokescreen. The illegals will probably stick their tongues out at the camers and laugh before they head on their way.

Weather Bug has a few thousand web cams in their network and they seem to work okay, But....
I would rather see a few hundred anti-personnel radars operated by some real US military who are backing up a bunch of really serious ICE agents who are, in turn, picking up los mojados before their feet get dry.

Those cameras will be 'for sale' at a few garage sales or swap meets within a week.
