ive heard about ants biting but im not suremany people tell me but im like do they really and i dont want to go forever wondering!!!

all ants bite... they devour their food by eating it,will bite if you try to mess with them...even the tiny ones will defend themselves & their queen & nests..fire ants are the worse kind though,they have a poison that makes it burn really intense when they bite you....too many bites can be deadly

Yes some do. I remember when I was about 17 yrs old. I went on my lunch break and went and sat out in the grass. Well I didn't know I was sitting close enough to an ant hill. When I ran into the bathroom to see what was crawling up my legs they were a reddish colored ant and I had little red dots all over the place. Believe it or not their bites burn really bad.

Not only that but if you look at their mouths, you'd have to look carefully, you will see something that looks like a crabs claw (couldn't think of a better example) well that is what they look like.

Yes red ants do bite, and also those other kind that are smaller than the usual red ants.

Yes, fire ants, army ants, and African Biting ants(which you may never come across), But only if you disturb there Living!!

Of course lah!!!!! But only the fire ants.... and it hurts.. i heard that it has poison but I'm not really sure.... the fact, I've never heard people get to hospital because of ant's bite....
