If you get a Super Soaker type giant squirt gun at any toy store, and many large drug stores, you can fill it with water and spray her when she goes at your clothes. Don't say anything, and she won't realize that YOU are the culprit, but just that the clothes have began to fight back!
Supper soakers train them quickly, and take the fun out of the game.

Nah, none of that works. It doesnt address the actual problem. Take all the clothes off the line. Fill a garbage bag with maybe half a bucket of water. Tie it to the clothes line. she is after the clothes when ur not there to talk 2, thats the prob. When she goes after the bag, same as the clothes, she will get a wet suprise!! Ur not hurting her, the 'clothes' r giving her a surprise. She sounds like a good girl, never hit her. P.S do some silly jumping around with her!!

She's just a baby. Our dog used to do this, she'll grow out of it. It's just a game to her.
In the meantime try putting the line up high so she can't reach it (but this didn't work with our dog!) or else, tie her up while the washing is drying. Also, try this, put the washing out, then take her for a really long walk. She'll be exhausted when she gets back, too exhausted to play her little game.
We also used to tie a tennis ball on a piece of elastic to the clothesline when it wasn't being used for the washing & she used to jump up and try to grab it. She used to love this and stopped trying to get the washing because she knew the tennis ball was her own special toy.
Let me know in your feedback if anything worked, I'd be interested to know.

I recommend the answer to that is relatively hassle-free. circulate the canine from the bathing line, or the bathing line from the canine. situation over. If he's left by myself exterior, with get entry to to the bathing line, then something dangling on there is honest game to him. He does not inevitably understand that is incorrect (he hides) yet he particular knows adequate to get your physique language. avert. Prevention. consistently the suited way (different than training which will take extra time!!). playstation . A canine like that is frequently bored, in spite of being taken out plenty. To be truthful, particularly than go away him with the run of exterior once you're no longer there to oversee what's happening, i could have him indoors. and doubtless crated?

Try putting the line up as far as it will go. Give your dog balls, and stuffed toys to play with. Take all the blanket bedding out of your dogs kennel and replace it with a large cushion or camping bed of the ground. You can only growl at your dog when it is doing the wrong thing and pat and praise it for doing the right things. Good Luck.......... P.S.. The spray bottle ...water squirt.. works for my cats should work for your dog as they are suppose to be cleaver.

I was told by a dog trainer once that the best thing to do to stop a dog from doing anything was to have a bucket or water pistol with warm water in it and when you catch the dog doing something it shouldn't, pour the warm water on it and make a loud noise like hitting a tin with a stick. The warm water feels like blood and they think they were hurt. It stops them from doing just about anything. It has worked for us and it doesn't hurt the dog which is great.

Have tried all of the things already suggested our dog thought getting wet from filled plastic bags and condoms was a great game. He has now grown up and very rarely touches the clothes just keep telling your dog no intrested to know what type of dog you have ours is a pure lab and they are babies for up to 2 years.

Roll up a newspaper and smack her on the head. No, I'm not cruel. She's a puppy and that's what they do. Try and make your line higher or give her another line of old washing to play with. Give her old clothes so that she can tear 'em up.

Try putting balloons filled with water on the clothes line. Hang them lower than the clothes. Hopefully your dog will go for them and get a face full of water which might put her off doing it.

She's just having fun and you won't break her of it when you're not there to stop her. Just move the laundry to a part of the yard that she can't get to or put a fence around it.
