Okay you say there's no God. Then can I ask how you and everything that was made exist? Everything that is made needs a maker. Nothing Just is. And no I don't have much faith in Christianity. I've been burned more times than I can count. But when I look at the sky and how many changes of color it goes through each day, when I look at the grapefruit plant that's growing in my window, when I look at the trees and the grass and the animals the roam the fields , the singing of birds, the playing of squirrels I can't say that there isn't a God. And even more amazing how we are born. Did you know that the babies soft spot in it's head is so it can compress when it's exiting the womb? The way we are put together the way we walk, we're the only species that can walk up right with great balance. And the complexity of our brain and the boundless possibilities for learning. i know that there is something bigger than me and all of us. Now my faith in that will never waver.

You haven't proven anything about God. You have made some scientific statements.
Your assertion that the mere fact that I opened this question "proves" that I have doubts. No my friend, I have no doubts. God has shown me to love all His children, not just those who believe as I do. He has called me to spread His Word and His love, teachings and messages to those who are hurting and confused. I believe you fall into the second category.
I suggest that before you attempt to answer a very difficult and complicated theological question that has confounded more knowledgeable people than you and I, you at least spend some time studying the Bible.
Be blessed and know that God loves even those who are confused and still in darkness. I pray that you find the light of His love soon.

You know what...why are you even in the Religion and Spirituality section if you don't believe in God? Just the fact that you seem to feel the need to "prove" the non-existance of God makes me think it is you who has the doubts, my friend.
By the way, I agree with you about the energy. God is life force energy, not an old man with a big grey beard floating around in the sky. God is the eternal process of life.
And energy IS what answers prayers...it's called the Universal Law of Attraction...you get back whatever you put out there with your thoughts and beliefs (energy).

First of all, the reason I opened your question wasn't becuase I had little faith but, so I would know who I am praying for, and why I should pray for you. Now I know. Your logic about God makes absolutely no since at all. There is plenty of proof that God does exist and He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life and our only way to His kingdom is through the blood of His Son Jesus Christ. So I hope to day that you will accept him as your personal savior and join God's army, and quit living in sin. Put your faith in someone real not time and mass.

Actually, I'm deep into apologetics and defending the Bible. I opened this expecting to refute another thoughtless attack on the Bible just like I've done thousands if not millions of times before by now... although of course it's with knowledge and wisdom given me by God... I have no doubts about my own abilities or rather lack thereof as manifested before I came to faith in Christ.

BORING Again and still BORING.. My question was more interesting. But you know the old saying, one man's meat is another man/s cheese - or something like that. You are a touchy little devil aren't you? Maybe that's why the rug gets pulled out from you so often? But at least you have a sense of humor (when you're not being BORING) LOL

yeah, i am really confused by your entire statement. it just seemed like a complete paragraph of babble and nonesense. there's is nothing you could say to make me Doubt my God. i will pray for you. God loves you whether you believe He exists or not. and just the fact that people try so hard to prove that He doesn't exist must say something, because if there were no God or higher power, who would care?

If there is no God then who do you suppose created the light, energy, and matter? Maybe you think you created yourself with your own energy that you didn't have the power to create or use without a God who made it possible.

Believing in god is no different than those weenies that have to collect all the star wars gear that they can because they actually think that in a galaxy far far away that it is real. Hey, grow up! And while we're at it, learn how to do your own laundry for a change!

Can you prove that you exist? Can you prove why you exist? Can you prove that we see? Can you prove that there is dark and light? Can you prove that there is energy? Can you prove that there is time. Can you prove that there is mass? Can you prove that there is continuing process? I'm sorry, but you can prove none of these. Before you die, you should make arrangements to put on your tombstone,..."I was not a continuing process!"....I am doubtless.
