I am trying to make a video for my teachers wedding and it would be great if we could use our software that we recieved with the camera. Using Image Mixer VCD2, we could have the chance to add a menu and everything. . .but I am just not sure if the picture quality will be at its finest. So, if I do make the DVD, will the picture be like on the computer (with large pixels that make the images unbearable), or will it be perfectly fine like the picture quality on the LCD screen?

What I mean by LCD screen is the LCD screen on the camera itself.

ok i think i know what you mean, but if im wrong, add details and correct me. i think that when youre using image mixer, it makes a smaller version of the video for you to preview while you work, and when you view that at a larger resolution, it becomes pixelated. if you just export onto dvd and watch it, it will probably be fine. also, "finest" quality depends on what you start out with. if you start out on dvd, then edit it, picture will be worse than if you started out on minidv and then transfered to dvd. so i think what you should do right now is just go ahead a burn a test, and watch it on your tv. it should be fine. i hope this helps.

It'll be fine, as long as (1) the program itself doesn't change the quality (2) you don't change it; you put the file right into the program without changing it.

that software is good but if you have a friend that has a sony vaio computer you are not going to have that problem; they come with a nice software.
