Here is all that you have to believe, man, and you set, you dont need the detail in each religion. There is one benevolent Force in heaven that wants you to do good things, and one evil force in hell that wants you to do bad things. The Benevolent one, if you call him God or Allah or Buddha or Gaineish or Zeus even sends a prophet to his land, Jesus or Muhammud or the Doli Llama or Hercules, to spread the message. Be a good person, and you go to heaven. Bad guy and you rot in hell. Dont focus on the Details because you lose the message at that point. It's like the saying "the devils in the details"
Please, no more hate mail from over Zealous Christians or Atheists

Truly Gods are above names, it is the meaning in the words you call them that mean something. Even if you just say "God" it's the meaning that matters, not the word. Spirit beings respond to the emotions behind what we say, not our words. The Christian God, however, does have a name, He's been called Jehovah and Yaweh.
As for Jesus being the son of God, many people don't believe that, you're not the only one! The early church condemned alot of folks for saying he wasn't, and it was one of the hotly debated subjects for early doctrine. No I didn't get this from the DaVinci coode, either, by the way, I got this from the Gnostic Gospels and Woman: Her Influence in Ancient Greece, Rome & Among the Early Christians. I research these things because I write historical fiction. Some folks these days have argued that the virgin birth idea is very Pagan and doesn't belong in Christian doctrine anyway (it is very common in Pagan folklore). But when it comes down to it, aren't all Christians (and Jews) chIildren of God? In that way, Jesus would be the son of God, and so would you.
At any rate, I believe it is Jesus's message and example that are important more than his parentage. I know that our Pagan Gods speak to us if we pray to them and meditate and guide us, I am sure your Christian God will do the same if you pray to him just before you sleep, maybe you'll have a dream that will guide and comfort you.

God does have a name, and I am surprised that I have yet to read it in the posts before mine, at least not as of yet when I first came across your question. Sorry I didn't read each post in complete detail, some where just too long, so I may have missed it. God does go by many names that is true, but He does have a formal name as we do, it is Jehovah or Yahweh, the second spelling is only a guess on our part, the Jews felt his name to be so sacred that all the vowels were removed from his name so not to be said. Jesus is indeed God's son, the Holy Spirit enpregnated Mary. All of what I have told you, you will find in the bible.

God has many names in the Bible, each one revealing a different part of His character. There is a link which explains them. As for Jesus, well as a Christian there comes a point when you have to say, either the Bible is true or it's not, I don't believe in picking out the parts of the Bible that you like and discarding the rest, that's what has made so many Christians fall out and have different beliefs. The Bible IS the word of God, so what it says is true because God cannot lie. Remember it's Satan who is described as the father of lies and you would be a fool to let his lies take you any further away from the truth.

We all have difficulty with our faith from time to time. Let me first recommend that you discuss the issue with your pastor, or spiritual leader. I would also suggest you read your bible and ask God to reveal to you the truth.
I will however briefly attempt to address your questions. God does have a name. Let me refer you to a website which lists the names God uses to reveal himself to His people: http://www.ldolphin.org/Names.html
God also uses various names to describe his nature and character to his people.
Your second question is also tricky because it involves discussing the Holy Trinity, an issue which has sparked debate for the ages.
While the trinity is not explicitly stated within the Bible, Christ teaches about three distinct personalities within the Godhead, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. Christ identified Himself as I AM, the same identifier God used to identify himself to Moses.
If you would like more information, this website may be useful:

Pray about it. If Jesus was only a messenger and loved God, why would he be blasphemious in saying he was his son? He was his son, his one and only! These chapters may help you build up your faith. Rom. 10:17, Jude 1:20, 1 Peter 1:7-9, James 1:5-8, Rom. 4:20-21, Cor. 5:7, Mark 11:24, James 2:18, 22, Heb. 10:32-39

GOD’S NAME
The Massorah has a rubric calling attention to these first 4 acrostics. This locks in the name of God according to Hebrew and Biblical scholars. The name also being spelled backwards for Divine reasons, a subject for another time.
Est.1:20 And when the king's decree which he shall make shall be published throughout all his empire, (for it is great,) all the wives shall give to their husbands honour, both to great and small.
( shall give to their husbands honour both to great and small ) Hebrew ( Hi Vekal Hannashim Yittenu ) HVHY
Est.5:4 And Esther answered, If it seem good unto the king, let the king and Haman come this day unto the banquet that I have prepared for him.
( let the king and Haman come this day ) Hebrew ( Yabo Hammelek Vehaman Hayyom ) YHVH
Est.5:13 Yet all this availeth me nothing, so long as I see Mordecai the Jew sitting at the king's gate.
( this availeth me nothing ) Hebrew ( zeH eynennV shoveH leY ) HVHY
Est.7:7 And the king arising from the banquet of wine in his wrath went into the palace garden: and Haman stood up to make request for his life to Esther the queen; for he saw that there was evil determined against him by the king.
( that there was evil determined against him ) Hebrew ( kY kalethaH elayV haraaH ) YHVH
Also a 5th acrostic of “ I am”, ( I am that I am ) Hebrew ( ehyeh asher ehyeh ) Exo.3:14
Est.7:5 Then the king Ahasuerus answered and said unto Esther the queen, Who is he, and where is he, that durst presume in his heart to do so?
( Who is he, and where is he ) Hebrew ( huE zeH veeY zeH ) EHYH “I am”
The Massorah has a special rubric calling attention this acroustic.
Psa.96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad;
Hebrew ( Yismehu Hashshamayim Vethagel Haarez ) YHVH

God has many names, God, Allah, Great White Spirit, and so on every man made religion will give him a name, and what is in a name anyway, God is, and always has been, and will forever more be God our savour.
Love & Peace
PS don't feel guilty about questioning God, that just shows you are true to God, and not another one of man's brainwashed puppets

God does have a name and the people above me have pointed that out. let me shed a little more light on Jesus being the Son of God.
According to some of the prophets of the old testament, a descendant of David will become king and rescue the Israelites from bondage, their enemies, etc. the israelites believed/believe that this king will be more of a military conqueror. however, this descendant of David would have the Spirit and knowledge/wisdom/counsel/power of God resting on him (Isaiah 11:2). this messiah would come and save the israelites from slavery and bondage to the law, allowing them to come closer to God (another topic). in addition, this messiah would come to allow non-israelites to share in God's favor.
now according to the prophets, this descendant of David would not be a pompous one, but rather one most humbled (Zechariah 9:9-10) and he will be called "Wonderful-Counselor, Mighty-God, Eternal-Father, Prince of Peace"(Isaiah 9:5-6). Now if the future messiah would be called Mighty God, would that make God the Messiah? Not quite, however, when a prince becomes king, he takes over the title that his father once had...
Now if we were to turn to the new testament, we see that Mary was a descendant of David, that Jesus was a humble man from his birth all the way to his death (he had to drag his cross through the streets before he was crucified and while he was on the cross, the soldiers gambled over his clothes), and his knowledge of the scriptures surpassed that of rabbi's when he was a boy and his teachings were some that have never been heard before. Even though he knew the scriptures all too well, he operated outside of the Law of Moses....
sorry for the length but its a subject definitely worth its length. hope this helps.
but there's nothing wrong with really questioning God, a lot of us do it, i myself doing it numerous times. we must realize though that at times our faith will be tested and the powers that be attempt to pull us away from God through the simple questioning of God's workings. dont let the enemy see you discouraged because the more you think that you are discouraged, the more the enemy will whisper to you. you're faith is stronger than you think, pray for strength and you'll be fine

Mainworry answered the first part quite well =] And along with that, how do you think He came to be simply known as God, and us by actual names? God gave us our names, and even then we didn't have last names.
and the Bible specifically says that Jesus is the Son of God, it was prophecied of His coming, how is it that you can't believe that? Its all in the Bible for you to understand. I'll pray for you.
