Seems like if we stopped educating peoples children (who didn't speak English and) couldn't prove citizenship, we'd have a whole lot less problems right out front. If these kids are running the streets and are school age, bingo, ...we have caught them and their parents. Why in heaven's name do we let the children of illegal immigrants/aliens come into our schools and then change the ciriculum to Spanish cuz they can't speak English? What about the American kids needs? This is so nuts I can't fathom it. What's the deal here?

NO Hate here (boo boo)
Just trying to understand and solve a problem. 40% are apparently here and not suppose to be. It's not a punishment to stop school for the children that are not here from this Country. It's punishing to those paying taxes for those children to be educated in Spanish and punishment to the other kids who aren't learning English or in English like the American children.
I am somewhat aware of the Supreme Court law and it's mandate. It's bad law and must be changed to protect America. I'm all for education that unifies and does not segregate. Especially unifying in English (0ur spoken/written language here in America) and teaches children that to break the law is wrong. Apparently, our system of education for whatever reason isn't working properly. The parents of those "legally born so called American children" are apparently not obliged to or desirous of, teaching their children English. Why bother to teach them here at all in that case?

Yes, you are very right. I agree. Parents should have to show their children's US birth certificates at the time of registration of their children in school. For the ones born here, okay, of course they can go to school in the US. For the ones not born here and no legal documentation for being in the US, no they should NOT be able to go to school in the US. Their parents are the ones at fault for bringing them to the US illegally. If they really care about their children and want them to get a US education, then they should have thought about that before and should have applied legally to come into the US with their children. Or, they should have left their children at home in their own country, applied for themselves a work visa in the US and send money home to pay for their children to go to a proper school in their own country. American taxpayers should NOT have to foot the bill to educate their children. I feel sorry for these children for having such thoughtless parents as to bring them into another country illegally, but we cannot afford to pay for everything for them.

Not best will have to they be allowed to visit public colleges they will have to even be required to visit university due to the fact schooling is not a privilege this can be a proper and a demand and truancy is prohibited why will have to kids of undocumented extraterrestrial beings be held to a further normal than authorized extraterrestrial beings or residents - or made to pay a rate for some thing that had not anything to do with them. What do you believe? EDIT "trev-why shouldnt they only be deported to their residence nation to get an schooling as an alternative?" Your query implied they had been resident within the USA and their moms and dads are right here for anything cause and most likely the basis used to be that *deportation* wasn't at the playing cards and your best question used to be whether or not they will have to get education whilst right here. In any occasion: no I am no longer a judgmental conservative so I am no longer racist or imperialist and I do not feel in treating humans badly: sure youngsters will have to be allowed/required to visit university so long as they are living right here Lord is aware of why you believe it's this kind of tremendous deal besides: the USA public university approach is a entire funny story - sixty five% of university youngsters are not able to even discover the USA on a map. Why you being so beneficial approximately it?

Unfortunately, it's not the children's faults. It comes down to morality and doing the right thing. Most of the children were born here and are US citizens. I think building the wall, better enforcement of immigration laws now is the only moral thing we can do with those that are already here. Immigration, legal or not, is what we were built on in the U.S.. Penalties, and burden of proof that they have and will pay taxes before deportation is also a good idea.

Ok let's see the numbers: 66% of those kids were born here and are more american than apple pie. The other ones, have the right because in 1982 the supreme court decided that they should have that right. So we need to respect the law and give all those kids education.

First of all you need an english lesson. Your question is a double negative. "should not we not.." The illegal immigrant problem is not easily solved. Don't attack what you don't really understand. Schools can't do a background check on the parents to know if they are legal or not. The schools have to admit the children if they show up. It is up to the police and immigration department to find people and deport them and their kids if they are not legal, not the schools. Also curriculum does not change to Spanish in the U.S.

OK, stop being races all of you! Kids don't even know what they are going through, so i think they should get education. Their parents should do something to pay for them, but they should have a chance. Look at it this way, in 10 years, a Mexican can become a millionaire and a American can become a hobo, and maybe that Mexican can give money to charities or to schools or to the government. Just look at the possibilities, man.

No, if the illegal why should we pay for them to go to school? And I feel the same as to if the child is born in the US but both parents are illegal then I think the child should be considered illegal also, nothing against that child but in ways our own country is struggling right now, we cant take care of illegal immigrants.

first of all more than likely the child was born here. that automatically makes him a u.s. citizen. dumass. secondly stop hating. actually giving them an education will help in the future because then they can have real jobs and support themselves. tell the superintedent that they are teaching in spanish. this will work and if it doesnt take it to an even higher power.
