There are a lot more numbers of women in the world than numbers of Christians. So by the same irrational reasoning, would those same haters of Christians say that just because women are not a minority that a woman can't be victimized by anyone?
Anyone would see this argument as complete nonsense, and any rational person would be able to see how stupid is is to use the same argument to deny the fact that Christians are routinely persecuted in the world (and killed routinely in many countries just for being Christian).

Even here in America, where Christians are the majority, it's the only religion that routinely gets singled out for censorship in public places. They have legally banned it from public places.
Bigotry against Christians, especially Catholics, is the only kind of bigotry that is accepted in America. Any other religion or belief has to be tolerated for political correctness.
Dan Brown would not even think about demonizing Muslims or Jews, but he can get away with it only because he is against Christians and especially the Catholic Church.

Christianity is the complete opposite of being self-centered. Read the bible.

Legally banned Christianity from legal places? Where? Are you referring to "no lead prayer in school"? If so, that isn't banning your religion.
And, I really don't see Christians being persecuted in America. Churches on every corner, their own TV Networks. Do you see the Atheist Channel anywhere? How about a Pagan Hour? You may find a few Pagan temples in major cities, but for the most part, you don't even know we exist in your towns. Our children are not allowed to wear religious jewelry because it denotes "gang membership"... yet the cross is used far more by gangs than the pentacle or any other pagan symbol. Please, this "persecution" thing is really turning into a WHINE rather than an actual standing up to wrong-doing.
The only place I see Christians being persecuted is in Muslim ruled countries. Do you live there? I wouldn't think so, since you are able to post these things in this site.
As for being killed for being Christian, I suggest you look at history... EVERYONE has done that. Muslims killing Christians, Christians killing Muslims... the Church killing everyone they think is a heretic... You don't read about Pagans killing others because they believe differently. For some reason, it's mainly Muslims and Christians. Why, I'm not sure of.
And if anyone has the right to complain about being persecuted, it is the Jews. I think they have us all beat.

Persecution is different than victimization. Persecution is vicimization on a societal scale. Chrisitians can be persecuted as long as they are in the minority. If they were in the majority, they would be the ones deciding who did what.

There's a big difference between "not agreeing" with someone and "hating" or "persecuting" them. And people are killed in many countries for many reasons, some religious, many not. People die. It's a fact of life.

Yeah, it's not like any gays have been denied rights by Christians, abortion clinics bombed by Christians, Muslims physically threatened by Christians, and it's certainly not like almost every single governmental figure is a Christian. Oh wait...
You simple-minded Christians and your martyr complex.

i dont speak for all people but i man atheist and i dont hate christianity per-se. i dlslike how you christians go around claiming your beleifs are fact. i dislike how you go to poor countries and pass out bibles instead of food. i definitely dislike how you go and look down your noses at other people of different faiths. and i definitely dislike how you christians pretend to know whats best for everyone.
christians are self sentered, egotistical and generally uncaring people. its not persecution, its a reality check.

Christians aren't being killed for being Christians, they are being killed for being obnoxious.
You'll have to speak to your fellow bible thumpers about Christian hating, they're the only ones who have organized hate sessions directed at people who disagree with their cult's version of "what God really said, and, if he didn't say it, what he really meant to say."
