Yes, common with me. I lay down and try to be completely still, close my eyes, try to sleep and relax all my muscles. At times I need to take Excedrin.

i always had tension headaches, cinus, migranes all kinda headache since childhood. when i have tension headache i do every simple thing wrong. and with that the first thing i do is drink coffe, relax and try to find the problem that caused it. some times it takes me hours and hours to come to a decision that can solve the problem and my stress too. but even if i can't solve it,with calm mind i always come up with some ideas that atleast gives me satisfaction and hope to solve the problem in the future.
with other kinda headache i normally eat something then take advil and listen to my favorite music. i'm not sure if that'll help u but for me music is the best medicine ever. i hope u find what u r looking for! take care!!

I get tension headaches, cluster headaches and migranes. I have had them since I was in my teens. My mom has migranes and sinus headaches. We take Tylenol 3's and Immitrex for migranes. Rest and relaxationiskey soI practice yoga and I don't eat too many sweets, red wine, chinese foods with msg, old cheddar which i love - i have had to cut back on it. when i get the tension headches, i get accupuncture, reflexology or massages, because my tension stems from my feet and back and emanates to my neck.

I use to get them all the time, do a web search on relaxation breathing or meditation breathing or something like that. basically i just go lay down with no TV or radio or anything on with the lights off, close my eyes and just take slow deep breaths, a tension headache is caused by stress.
if that doesn't work, go see a chiropractor and get your back popped.

How do you know it's a tension headache? See a doctor if it's persistent, there may be an underlying physical cause that needs to be found. Jules, Australia.

tension headaches for me usually also make my neck and my shoulders hurt. take a break from what ever your doing, take some tylenol or advil, drink some tea, try to relax for a few minutes. mine are always caused by stress, some you can avoid and some you cant

I get them. They are very common.

It usually begins with tightening of the neck then you start to feel pain on both sides of you head.

Of course not everyone feels the same thing.

I usually put a cold rag on my head (covering my eyes) and try to take a nap. If its really bad I do the same thing but take an advil.

Hope this helps.

To get rid of them, try the one-time treatment called Atlasprofilax.

The effect is amazing! I have experienced it myself 15 months ago.

Travel to California or Europe and enjoy the treatment - once in a lifetime.
