WHAT WAS AFTER THE OR?IF YOU PROPOSED A BREAK-UP AND HE EXCEPTED...... THEN WHAT'S THE PROBLEM? "OR" IS THE PROBLEM THAT YOU STILL WANT TO BE WITH HIM AND HE'S JUST BEEN ACTING LIKE AN "***" LATELY. IF HE'S GIVEN YOU "EXCEPTABLE" REASONS AND YOU DON'T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THEM THEN MAYBE YOU TWO SHOULD RECONSIDER GETTING BACK TOGETHER. IF HIS REASONS WERE UNEXCEPTABLE AND YOU DON'T FEEL IT'S SOMETHING THAT CAN BE FIXED, YOU TWO NEED TO GO YOUR SEPERATE WAYS FOR THE TIME AND MAYBE LATER ON YOU CAN TALK ABOUT BEING STILL REMAINING FRIENDS.

Or you can get back together. In my experience you cant be friends with an ex, someone is always more hurt than the other. Just stick with breaking up.

HE ACCEPTED YOUR PROPOSAL TO BREAK UP WITH HIM. BUT HE WANTS YOU TO BE HIS FRIEND AFTER YOUR BREAK UP. WELL, BEING FRIENDS AFTER A SERIOUS RELATIONSHIP IS NORMAL TO MATURED PEOPLE. BUT I KNOW YOU WERE HURT BY THOSE WORDS.
YOU HAVE TO ACCEPT THE FACT THAT HE WANTED TO SET YOU FREE WITH HIS NONCHALANT ATTITUDE REGARDING YOUR RELATIONSHIP. IT'S GOOD THAT HE APOLOGIZED FOR HIS SHORTCOMINGS BUT THAT DOES NOT MAKE YOUR RELATIONSHIP GO ON. APOLOGY WAS WHAT HE GAVE YOU BUT HE DID NOT WANT YOU TO CONTINUE AS LOVERS. THAT WAS AN OUTRIGHT TELLING YOU TO SAY GOODBYE TO EACH OTHER. ACCEPT IT GRACEFULLY WITH THE HOPE THAT THERE WOULD BE BETTER TOMORROWS FOR YOU WITHOUT HIM. LOOK AROUND YOU FOR SOMEHOW, SOMEONE OUT THERE WITH PROMISES OF TRUE LOVE AWAIT YOU. LIVE YOUR LIFE TO THE FULLEST AND USE THIS EXPERIENCE TO MAKE YOU A BETTER AND MORE MATURED WOMAN. SMILE!
