Thai is healthier. Thai food not only tastes good, but is also healthy due to its low fat and high fibre and the nutritious properties of its herbal ingredients.

Regarding why Chinese food is not healthier.......

We're eating American-style Chinese food; an extremely fattening, cholesterol-loaded version of the real thing. Since most American Chinese restaurants do not prepare their dishes in the authentic Asian style, the fare you'll find at most of these eateries is oozing with fat, cholesterol, salt, and sugar, making American-style Chinese food just as bad for you as any other fast food take-out meal.

Thai. For sure. Although famous bangkok cuisine has a slimese greasy influence, isaan and southern thai food is very low on oil. Thai food was strong in flavour to make the rice go further. Now that Thialand is wealthy, the ratio of oil, sugar, salt, msg and meat to rice and vegetables has changes. Even a salad in Bangkok is 60% meat.
They use a shitload of MSG in thai food, about a desert spoon per dish.
Vietnamese is the lightest, healthiest of all asian cuisines. They use a little too much sugar for my taste though.

Chinese, but depending on what kind of Chinese. Cantonese dished are usually finer and healthier, but dishes like Teochew ones tend to be spicy. Sure, there are Thai dishes without the chili, coconut milk or oil, but where's the fun in that?

Definitely Thai, it has so many more layers of flavor in each dish, most Chinese dishes taste the same every bite.

Steamed Chinese food. You can get brown rice at a lot of Chinese restaurants now, and many of them also serve sauce on the side if you request it. Fish, chicken and vegetables are delicious steamed with ginger, spices and a dash of oil. There's also a large variety of vegetarian dishes, including versions of meat dishes made with wheat gluten or tofu. Stick with low sodium varieties of soy sauce and you can have a tasty, healthy meal. Remember--for thousands of years a big Chinese concern was longevity/ immortality, and a lot of the cuisine still reflects that!

it depends on how the dish is cooked for example steamed fish with soy sauce is a chinese dish & is healthy. then u have got mango salad which is one of a thai dish & is healthy. so read what the menu says about the dish & how it's cooked. avoid fried oily stuff & u should be fine.
