Which do you think provides the best care, stay at home moms or working moms? Why? Does one affect or benefit the child more than the other?

Stay at home moms are super awesome people. We sacrafice a lot to ensure our children are being raised properly and as far as I'm concerned NO ONE can raise my child like me.

I think that the quality of time you spend with your child is more valuable then the quantity of time. I am a stay at home, and have been for 8 years. The benefits that I have had are I get to share and see so many special moments with my sons. I am there for every smile and there to wipe every tear. It's as if I never miss a moment. I don't feel lonely or bored because I keep busy and I appreciate and acknowledge how blessed I am to be able to have this much time with my boys.

I think it does benefit a child if their parent(s) are completely involved in their care. Love and care from a parent is incomparable. This is not to say that a child cannot get good care elsewhere, but I do believe the level of love, patience and devotion is greatly different when care is given from a parent compared to a childcare provider.

Wether we work or stay at home, it doesn't make you a better parent either way. It's how you spend your free time with your children is what makes the difference.

No one will take better care of your baby than you. Although I agree that moms should stay home and take care of the babies, there are some cons to that. Your baby/toddler needs to develop social skills and some kids that stay at home with mom don't get that.

I think that if you can afford to stay home with your kids you should do it, as long as you can get them involved in activities outside the household as well, like a baby gym or daycare for a few hours a week or something like that.

i think that if you stay home it is better because i know for experience that when moms work they dont have as much time for their kids they are always tired they dont know what is going on with their kids life, especially if they are in middle school and high school since that is when most of their school problems begin, you want to be there for your daughter or son when ever she or he need of a friend.

SAHM is much more beneficial to the child. They are not ignored by daycare workers, have you anytime they need you, plus you get to bond better with your child!
If you can afford to stay at home...DO IT!
Your child will benefit!

I stay at home, becasue I dont want my son to be raised my a daycare or someone else. But that always isnt the case and some people cant afford it. my son is very attached to me, so it kinda makes it hard to leave him with other people.
