A true story was made into a movie, The Three of Hearts. A loving couple, 2 NYC bi-sexual men, wanted a female aspect of their love&perhaps to bring children to the relationship. They met 1 who thought it would be a fling but wound up in love with both. She married 1 man legally & the other as legally as possible. The bi-sexual men married each other as legally as possible. The 3 opened a successful wellness center & she bore 2 children, 1 from each of the bi-sexual men. She is heterosexual and they call their relationship "trimonogamy." All three stayed together & loved ONLY each other & their children for 13 years. Then the men broke up; she remains living with one man & the children; they do not sleep together & date others. They would like to see this type of family, which they view as trimonogamous, to be legalized when gay marriage is legalized. The men say they are born bi-sexual.
Should they be granted legality? Why or why not? Should a line be drawn? Why or why not?

I found this a very interesting story. Should there be any limits at all or should all types of families be acceptable?

I am surprised by the few answers given into comparison to all the ones given on gay marriage. Is it because there is no politically correct "history" behind this so that no one knows how to answer or, even worse, no one has been given an acceptable answer to mouth (without having to think)?

That should read "in comparison" and not "into."

The lemmings haven't been told what to say. Too many people need others to think for them.
As for me, let the threesome have at it.

Why do people feel the need to limit others? Why can't people be free to believe and live as they want? God gives free will and then man wants to take it away and everyone is OK with that? I'm not. As long as people are spreading love then leave them alone. Even if you don't agree with someone elses life style try to respcet it as you would want yours to be. I am sure at one time or another you have come across someone that judged you and you felt it was unfair. try to remember how that felt and don't do it to someone else. We have these experiences so that we can grow and learn.

I'm not a christian...but will throw in my two cents: I think consenting adults should be allowed to marry in whatever combination they desire...so the line would be drawn at age and nothing more. However, attaching trimonogamous marriage to the gay marriage bill would make it practically impossible to pass....so they'll just have to wait.

Honestly, if it's between consenting adults, and all parties are equally consenting, then anything should go. The law isn't there to ensure our morality, it's there to ensure our safety. What other people do in their own bedrooms is of no threat to us. And quite frankly, the more loving adults children have in their lives, the better off they are.

I say let anyone marry whoever or whatever they choose. If you want to marry your dog, Spot, go for it. If you want a bunch of wives or husbands go for it. If you're smart, you'll refrain from marriage though.

I think polygamy should be accepted as long as all parties are accepting and not coreced in any way into the marriage.

Living a gay lifestyle is wrong no matter who does it or how. People are NOT born gay, that's their cop out. God creates us, God can not sin, he considers homosexuality a sin, there is only 1 answer....its a choice.

Really when it comes down to it, If you are a Christian there is only one view on homosexuality.......it's wrong. You cant be gay and a Christian. Because if you were a Christian you would love your God and do what he says
