I've got a DVD player with S-video only, no coaxial cable out, and an old TV with no S-video in port. So what do I do? Also I'd like to get the computer in on sending video to the TV through coaxial cable, you know analog cable like from the cable company? What kind of converter do I need exactly for this? This TV doesn't even have the red/yellow ports. I want to hook it up.

Umm.. that would be an rf MODULATOR. the other will make you look like a dumbass in radioshack. You also will need to run the red/white audio lines from the dvd player as well, s video only carries the picture signal, not the audio. as far as the computer, you need to get a video output card with either coax/composite/or s-video outputs. then connect as you are doing your dvd player. hint, if you plan on getting the card, get a rf modulator with built in 4-input switch. this will allow the computer, dvd player and 2 other devices to connect to your tv and you only need the one modulator.

Purchase a RF demodulator. Available from Radio Shack

Get a new TV, why even bother hooking up stuff made this century to a TV made in the last century.
