lol, thanks :)
nope, we are all born with an internal will to survive. Ergo, we are born Darwinsists. When knowlegde grows that will to survive changes a little bit in the fear of dying.
when people get really affraid of dying, then they are happy to get brainwashed with a nice fairytale.
and well, if it helps them to live happier, that's fine by me. only pls don't condemn me for not gotten brainwashed.
btw, i like the Mark I name. sounds a bit like a king :))
(little explanation abt the name: nickname is mark_intotdeauna...intotdeauna is romanian for 'forever'...but i still like Mark I better )

I truly believe I was born with a knowledge of God; my family is absolutely against Christianity, but from an early age on, I knew. When I was eight I asked God to bless my bath water so that I might baptize myself. It wasn't until I was mucher older, a little over ten years later, that I worked up the courage to go to church and learn about Him. I had to hide it from my parents.
I didn't know anyone who could have told me about God, but I knew. I just knew.
However, I honestly believe that some people are less sensitive to this knowledge, meaning that once they know God, they will have a sense that they always knew Him, but until they make an effort, they will not pay attention to that knowledge.
It's sort of the same as knowing that something is hot, but not having the magnitude, the importance of the knowledge, ring true until you burn yourself.
I hope that everyone who reads this understands that I mean no disrespect, but, that I honestly believe your life will be better once you try to get to know God. Remember, for every step you take towards God, he will run miles towards you. For every moment you spend trying to get to know Him, he will spend a lifetime getting to know you. He loves you and wants what's best for you.
Peace.

Yes. People are created by God. So How can people born without knowing God?
Only thing is when people grown up they think they created God and their knowledge is higher than God's.

Not complete knowledge for He is revealed as we grow in the capacity to understand but since the beginning of man there has been this quest to find, seeking a higher force than man-within our souls I think there's a imprint of God,similar to the genes we inherit from our parents and God reveals Himself through the Holy Spirit-dreams,feelings and so on.

People are not born with the knowledge of God, but they are born with a longing in their heart that only He can fulfill. That's why it is said, "There's a God-shaped hole in all of us." People try to fill this longing with all kinds of things, relationships with other people, sin, indulgences, career, family, etc. But nothing can satisfy it except God.

No, they are not. They are taught about God by their families, friends and neighbors. If atheists have an opinion about God, it's just because God is everywhere in this society, and because people who do believe in God are always trying to get us to believe in him.
For those who disagree, I am living proof: raised without any religion, it really never occured to me until I was 13 or so that God might possibly be real. No worries, though, I grew out of that phase fast enough.

When people come to a age when they know right from wrong they know that they have sinned against God. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; All people are born with a sin nature. You don't have to teach a child to do wrong but you have to teach them to do right.

No I don't think so, what we are born with is the need to believe in something or someone as a higher power. It's how religion was created in the first place. As far back as records can be found you will see this.

That is a very good question. My guess, would be that we are all born knowing that there is a "higher power" out there. But, I think that it is up to the parents to teach their child their religion, whether it be God or Vishnu (LOL). I do think that society and peers play a role in our beliefs, as well.

Yes, I think I was. I can remember as a very young child and without any religious education, talking to god at night. I had a special spot outside where it was peaceful and just at dusk I would go there every night. As I got older I felt further away and I miss that.

Of course not. We learn from what is around us. If you were raised in a jungle you would act like an animal and not believe you have to wear clothes to hide yourself from others.
Get raised among a bunch of Mormons and all you would know or believe is what you are told is the truth. It doesn't matter weather it really is true or not. You just accept it because you don't know any better.
