I'm 24 and used them without diet and exercise, I still lost a little weight b/c they kept me from being hungry. However I still would suggest avoiding them, they made me jittery and cranky. I used Zantrax 3 (I think thats how its spelled)

I've used water pills, but the results don't last. They work great for as long as you're on them, but you can't take them for more than a week or so. Follow the directions on the box.
