My husband and I were overseas for some time, my daughter got the schedule right away (it wasn´t hard for her to sleep late), but now that we're back I have a toddler that goes to bed any time between 11 pm and 3 am, this is crazy!! how can I fix her schedule?? any ideas??

We make our 19 mo. go to bed between 8-10pm. When I say make I mean we lay her down and shut off the lights. If she gets out of bed we put her back in bed and tell her it's night night time. Sometimes she whines but she gets over it. We don't spank her if she doesn't go to bed we just keep putting her back in her bed
At first we did this over and over again. We still have days she fights to not go to bed but they are getting farther apart.Just stay persistant

Wake her up early. If she used to wake up at 7 am before the trip, wake her up at that time. Let her take a little nap in the early afternoon, so that when bedtime comes around, she'll be tired and get back to her regular time.

Go to her pediatrician and ask about MELATONIN. You can buy it at any drug store or GNC. When you begin to get tired, your body secretes a chemical called melatonin. It makes you sleepy. Many people use it on their kids to get them back on schedule when they get thrown off. My boy is autistic and his sleep schedule is very erratic. Melatonin should not be used on a regular basis but should only be used for three to four days until the schedule is back on track. It's completely natural and safe. BUT TALK TO HER DOCTOR FIRST!

wake her up early in the morning(I know may be hard) and do not let her sleep during the day. Keep her active with outside activities if you can. This way she will be so tired by 8 or 9pm.
