I'm looking for cheapest set of brand name golf clubs. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest buying a used set, that way you'll get more for your money. Start with the yellow pages and place a few calls to see what your local area offers. Either try eBay, Play-it-Again-Sports, your local Golf Discount, yard/estate sales and even some Pro Shops have previously owned clubs. If you want "New", most manufacturers make a cheap set. Just remember, you get what you pay for.
I personally like the Titleist clubs but you might enjoy Callaway, Ping, Wilson, and many others.

If you're just looking to get a set to see if you like golf then I'd definitely go down the used golf set route. Roger Dunn's, Golfsmith, Nevada Bob's, and almost any golf shop will carry used sets. You might even ask your friends or collegues at work if they have a set they'd be willing to part with. You can even try the weekend swap meets. If you're looking for something new then I'd try Sports Authority or Sportsmart because I've seen a complete set with irons, woods, bag, and bag stand and sale for $99. Costco also has a nice set of Jack Nicklaus clubs.

Callaway is a durable set but not quite the cheapest.

e bay look for models a couple of years old, irons don't change that much over a few years the big names only make you think they do
