i have been dating this girl for around a year and i know she cares about me but when i say i love her she doesnt say anything back, she says its not that i dont love u its that im not ready to say it.. what does that mean?

She isn't ready to commit to loving you. If she says it, it makes it kinda permanent. (God that sounds corny)

A year and she has not told you she loves you? She must have a guilty conscience. Most people usually say they love each other anywhere from 3 - 6 months after dating. I think that maybe she still loves someone else deep down and until she can get over that person, she's having trouble telling you how she feels. I'm sure she cares for you because you've been together so long, but maybe it's time to have a serious chat with her and find out the real reason she's "not ready" to say I love you.

It doesnt mean that she doesnt love you maybe she has never been in a serious relationship before and does not know how to express the way that she feels about you. You should not worry about her not saying it if you know that when she tells you "I love you" that she will really mean it.

Loving someone and being in Love with someone is two different things. Ask her what your feelings are about love and her views & beliefs on love. Maybe she feels that saying I Love you is something you say later on in a relationship. There might be other reasons for her not saying it other then it is because she doesn't love you. Maybe she feels pressured into saying it and wants to wait so she can say it to you and not be saying I Love you TOO! Good luck to you and her.

Don't worry about it. Plenty of people find it hard to say "I love you." In fact, sometimes it's harder to say when it's true, if that makes any sense.
Good news: She's not trying to rush the relationship, which is a sign that the two of you will probably be together for a long time.

I think shes liking some one else but shes not sure about it, u should tell her if u have a son what would u name him whit a last name and maybe that name that shes going to tell u might be the other bouz name but ust do it and see if it works if she tells u the namelook him up in the internet OK!!? LOL

for some people saying i love you is not an everyday affair. some find that when they are ready to take that step they will. give her time if you think the relationship is worth it to you. she will let you know how she feels in her own time. blessed be.

im suprised she isnt saying it back! usually girls cant wait for the guy to say it, just give her some time, she will come around! shes probably just scared to get hurt. try talking to her about it! it just takes some people more time!

quite basically, it means shes not ready just like how she says shes not... it took me just over a year to tell my gf i loved her... and i said it when i was ready.. even though she admitted to loving me first... when she is ready she will say it.... good luck

believe it or not, love still means something to some people....maybe she isn't ready to say it to you but she does love you...it's just a way for her to protect her heart...i wouldn't worry too much about it if i were you
