Cadmium Red, Lemon Yellow, and Ultramarine Blue. The link below is to one of my paintings which has that combination to make the black.

You're better of just getting black paint. When talking about pigments black may technically be the mixture of all colors. But It would be nearly impossible to get the pigment density you'd need for it.

Folks, when you're talking about color whether you're talking about light or paint makes a huge difference as to the answers to any question. The primary colors in pigments are red (magenta), blue (cyan) and yellow, for light they're red blue and green, take a close look at your TV screen if you don't believe me.

You can get so close to black that it makes a good substitute by mixing Alizaron Crimson and Ultramarine Blue. It is such a dark purple that it comes off black. I prefer using it over black as black has a tendency to deaden other colors it is used with. Deep navy blue is almost as good.

None. You can't make black because black is not a color, black is the absence of light (color).

um purple and green maybe? and then add some red just for fun

or you could just use black, couldn't you? unless you're on that natural artistic trip because it was thought that black doesn't occur in nature anywhere, but we all know that isn't true. right?
