my answer:
whenever i finish a can of soda i throw it in the back of my truck, i had amassed about 50 cans over 3 months. i called them my insurance policy. so i came out from KFC and i see a bum snagging the cans out of my truck. i let him keep the cans. (the funny thing was how he was struggling to reach for them instead of just walking around to the other side of the truck bed)

I'm not saying this is a Christian thing because I don't like the way that sounds. It's a nice thing that I did.

I looked out the front window and saw 3 young boys searching for something in the ditch along side of the road. It was raining and they had ditched their bikes in my driveway. I was curious and went out and asked what's going on. The biggest one said looking for his cell phone. Evidently it fell out of his pocket while riding his bike down the road. The ditch was a small stream because of all the rain we had. I told them I would go get my pitch fork and be back. I started scooping wet leafs and whatever while they kept an eye out. After awhile the bigger one said that's enough. We covered more than the area I thought it was in. Then he said is that your pickup? I said yes where you guys live. It was only about 3 miles away. I said put your bikes in the back and I'll give you guys a lift. So I took them home and later that night I had a wiener marshmallow roast planned and was starting to worry about the rain. Later that night it clear up and actually was perfect because the temperature got down to 57 degrees.

So, you feel because you let the man you called a bum (not so Christian) keep the cans, that makes you a good Christian?

I'm no Christian but I would have had the cans in a bag and handed them to a homeless person long before he had to steal them.

Being a good, generous, kind person is not being Christian, it's being a good human.

I listened intently while my hubby confessed that he had been struggling with lust issues this week. (Looking not touching) He asked me to pray for him. And I did. I resisted the urge to smack the next half-dressed bambi I saw on the street.

I didn't whack the pastor's kid when she threw a videotape and cracked my kid in the head. It took a massive amount of grace not to pick it up and smack her in the back of the skull.

When I was walking my dog a couple days ago, I saw an older man struggling to carry an old armchair out to the curb, so I helped him carry it.

I don't think I've called anyone a special, made-up-by-me name all week. I've tried to be nice, and unoffensive. I have not gloated about hell. I have not been smug. I have not cheated, lied, or stolen. I have coveted, but not for very long. I haven't murdered anyone, and I haven't been rude to my parents. Do I get the gold star? =0)

I beleive that Jesus is my Lord and that he died for my sins.
I studied the Bible.
I told someone about God's Love and how great Jesus is.
I started a donation box of new toys to give to needy children.
I prayed.

i don't know whether you are saved or not but we do not get to heaven by doing good works on earth, only by accepting Jesus Christ as your savior and living your life for Him, so i would have to say that the most christian thing i've done this week is just being myself, a christian

Being nice to someone doesn't mean you're doing a Christian thing. You can be nice without being a Christian.

Anyway to answer your question, I prayed. Does that count?

YOu just got your reward here on earth.... So I cant tell you, because if I tell you then I have received my reward. We do acts of kindness, not to bragg, not for material reward, but to help the person, we stay humble about it, and we dont tell other people (then we are showing pride in what we did) Then you can get your reward from it
