Well, I'm married but alot of women chose to wait because they have so many opportunities available to them. Nowadays you don't need a man to be financially stable. There are lots of women who have a list of goals to achieve and being married is at the very bottom. (Oh, and I do love being married...just so you know)

There are many reasons!
For one thing, many women choose to persue a career instead of a family. College goals followed by finding a job... then succeeding in that job and climbing the ladder of success... have caused many women to postpose marriage.
Second, in this world we live in, trusting someone is hard to do. Every date with someone new, could have potential for rape. There's always the risk of a broken heart. You never know when a man is lying to you, and there's the chance you're being played. Fear sometimes trumps all.
Third, with the divorce rate so high these days, many opt to avoid that possiblity. Long-term relationships are all they have, but they stop short of that final commitment of marriage. Plus, with technology today, you no longer need to have sex to get pregnant. Go in and have yourself implanted medically. Or there is always the option for adoption. Women often no longer see the need of a man for children, and, besides, why risk putting their child through the pain of divorce?

Cuz ladies are well educated now than ever before. Ladies realize that they can be more independent and make their own money to spend for their own interest.

Today society offers less stigma against unmarried women. Women now have more choice of how they will spend their live. I guess with greater choice more women are deciding not to marry.

A lot of women don't want to deal with the BS from men. We have our own jobs, money, lives. Some women just don't bother with it. Men aren't like they use to be--faithful, honest, working.

I think they are getting those things which they got from married life that’s why they not marry

i for one have witnessed many failed relationships n i guess that single women nowadays r afraid to commit to marriage since more n more married couples end up in separation later in the realtionships...
as for me i enjoy being so single n for awhile just dating so that later if i found that one guy of my life i wud be sure that he is..and i am the one for him...
i just hope...

i've been married...and I thought it was happily married..unfortunately my ex thought it was ok to cheat and get someone else pregnant..so i'm not single by choice..and i'm not married right now because I don't actually have a boyfriend.
