you know that little stink they get when you have not wash then for a week?especially the ears

Washing your dog too much will cause dry skin is a MYTH!
Wash your dog as often as needed as long as you use a mild good quality shampoo and conditioner. I really don't see the need for more than once a week bathing. My dogs gets bathed once a week and have great skin and coat.
I don't think you are the only one that likes a dirty dog smell. Considering all the people who think their dog only needs bathed once or twice a year...they must like the smell too. I personally don't know how they can stand it, but hey, to each his own.
Oh, and lack of bathing and grooming is what is going to cause skin problems and infections..not overbathing.

like some one said love the dog love the smell , I have a 170 pound rottie in the house , and he gets a bath every two weeks, not very fun. so love the smell.

You should NOT Wash your dog every day like that girl said- it dries out the skin and can cause infections.

if you are worry about the smell. go to a pet store and get perfume for your pet. it smell nice. and your husband won't think it gross.

I love my dog's smell... My nieces say "Ewwwww! Buddy smelllllls" and I say "Yeah, I know, I have to wash him".... but really in my mind I'm thinking "What smell???" All I smell is LOVE....

yuk! im pretty sure thats not normal but whatever floats your boat! i like how my poodle smells a few days after a good bath but after that. no thanks!
