ok, I'm 13, and although this isnt the biggest situation in my life, I still wonder about it. I currently have a bf, and he's wonderful, sweet, sensitive, shy, caring, perfect. its me, we arent much of talkers we talk 4 lik 5 minutes about something, then when the subject is over, we get silent 4 awile, we go out on group dates, so there's usually dancing, or talking, or joking, wutever. well, on friday we went over to a friends house, and after me and my best friend left -im not allowed to be out on dates with out a "sista" along with me- I found out my best friends bf and my bf had started talkin about if we would let them kiss us. My best friend, and I both said we would... the problem is, I think I mite want to break up with my bf, we can never find anything to talk about. But he's my first, I really really like him -enough to kiss him-, he likes me, and just dont know what to do, we' started goin out 5/25 so we're "new" so should I see if things get better? or should I dump him?

you guys are 13...there isn't really a whole lot to talk about so just enjoy your young teenage years and i wouldn't be committed to one person right now anyway...you're too young for all of that

You are still very young so First I must say don't rush into anything. If you don't want to kiss him then I would say wait for the right guy to kis for the first time. You have so many years a head of you and lots of boys to kiss in that time. Don't rush, Have fun at 13 with friends. Having friends that are boys are just as fun as having boyfriends at 13. At 13 boys and girls can both be shy and maybe that is why you don't have a lot to talk about. Plus you have only been seeing each other a few weeks. Maybe get to know him a little more before you go breaking up with him or kissing him. Good luck to you & remember you have many years left for romance so don't rush things. You shouldn't dump him just because you can't seem to find something to talk about you obviously like him enough not to break up with him because you're wandering about it by making this question, and he obviously likes you because he didn't just kiss you, he was wondering if you would be okay by it! It's all up to you but don't break up with him just because you BOTH don't talk a lot, maybe you're the kind of couple who tells each other everything by just looking at each other! You are still really young so don't take relationships so seriously!!! Believe me I'm 15 about to turn 16 so I know what you are going thru!!!

Well, I think you are making this a bit more complicated than it is. We are sociable creatures. We LIKE being around each other. Just being TOGETHER is really all what we need. Go to the movies together, watch tv together, shop together. You are still young so the physical things that make your relationship more complicated such as kissing, can wait a while. You have a LONG life ahead of you, don't try to speed things up. Especially if they make you uncomfortable. He sounds like a nice guy.

No offence meant at all - but you're too young to have to worry about this stuff. Boyfriends will come and go (believe me!) but being young is fleeting - and awesome. There's a huge world out there for you to discover without being tied down.
If you don't want to be with him get it over with before he becomes too attached - then get out there and live! The world is full of interesting people and places.

see if things get better. if its a first.. theres always awkward-ness. wait for a couple weeks/months and maybe even talk about what you want to change! but going out is not all about kissing. its about loving to be with the person you like! think about it, and talk to him. if he doesnt understand then take whatever action is necessary. good luck! =D

You're 13 years old. Whatever this boyfriend is, he's probably the most uncomplicated man you'll ever be involved with in your life. Just go with the flow, do what seems right, treat him with respect, maintain your respect for yourself, and enjoy yourself!

all i have to say is dont kiss him if youre that unsure. a first kiss is like losing your virginity once its done its done. i remember my first kiss was in this guy's basement and we were playing suck and blow. after that we completely madeout and i wasn't ready for that. he helt me up and he went down my pants. i didnt know that i could tell him to stop. i was only twelve. and i was just happy that i had my first boyfriend. later that night we broke up. and i really wish i could take that night back and share my first kiss with someone special.

if you arent sure about the relationship you might not want to kiss him because it might confuse him and hurt him even more when you end things. but honestly hun, i am 20 and its hard for me to even remember my first kiss! its a huge deal for you now but in the long run its not so big..so if you really want to kiss him just go for it. just try and think about his feelings.
