YES...of course anger can kill, How many men, women, and even children die everyday because someones anger is out of control? So many you could never imagine. Some see men that are "tough" and "rough" as normal cuz they are guys but "snapping" and almost killing a friend is NOT normal, I'm glad you were able to see that. As for pursuing mental health help, please ignore anyone who would make fun of it. If they do then they just don't understand. You will be a much better person for having dealt with it for the rest of your life. Take this from someone who knows, who has been there, and am glad I did go.

Wow! better yet whoa! this is a serious issue! why do you allow anger to control your entire being? I think its awesome that you realize you need help! however, you shouldn't be scared of what people will think of you later in life, you should be scared where you will end up later in life! jail or six feet under! no judgments here though! anger issues can be resolved with effective therapeutic methods. Seek help! I'm positive your mom will support you. Good luck! remember, you are in control of you no matter who or what gets you angry.

It will all be ok. You realize you have anger issues and are willing to get help for them. Telling your mom was the right thing to do. Things blow over. People won't even remember the incident in a few weeks. What they WOULD remember is if you didn't get help and continued to act out. You are doing the right thing. If you get the help you need and stay on track with it...nobody will ever have to know that you used to have a problem. Don't be embarrassed, be proud of yourself for seeking help.

Don't worry about what other people may think. You've recognized that you have a serious problem, and are going to deal with it in therapy. What you're doing takes alot of courage and self-awareness. Be proud that you've taken the first step by acknowledging your problem. Now, follow through with the treatment. Perhaps someday, you'll be able to help someone in a similar situation. Best of luck!

Almost averyone has got angry with something in their life. The thing is we have to know how to express our emotion. Sometimes, we may hurt other people physically or emotionally during the process of releasing our feelings. So, basically I will think before I tend to hurt other people....Just try to think how to let others know the feeling you are in at that moments. That's all I can give. Good luck.

Yes, anger can kill.
It takes a lot of courage to get help. It's hard not to worry about what other people think. If someone can't understand why you'd get help, then they are not worth having in your life. Or, if that argument doesn't help you, just imagine what people will think of you if you don't get help and end up really hurting someone else or yourself.
Good luck.

Forget about later in life. Get the help NOW and go from there.
A lot of people have dark secrets that they do not want others to know, because of what people will think.
Get the help and get yourself okay......the hell with what people think.
I think it is great if a people is aware of their problem and seek help.
