Surfing the internet for porno causes spam. Buy your porno from the seedy looking convenience store instead. Also, all the girls on the web are really bots trying to get your Email address, unless they say they're lesbians. The "Lesbians" are bots trying to get more pictures of naked chicks.

Seriously though...

Never click on anything in any email you recieve, even if it's legit. Cut the link out, and paste it in another window if you absolutely have to see it, and even then, ask yourself "Is this really worth getting five more spam messages?

Never list your Email address when filling out any kind of application, and never enter to win any kind of sweepstakes that requires you to give an Email address. You have a snowballs chance in hell to win the lotto, but you will NEVER win a new car.

Spam tends to come in about four categories: Financial information, Drug/Medicine advertisements, Porno, and straight scams. Never use your home computer to look for informaiton on any of these categories.

You might also do a web search for your Email address. If you can find it, so can the spammers. Ask any site that has your Email address showing to hide it.

Lastly, do not forward anything, ever. People who forward stuff tend to forward it to other people who forward it, and so on. Before you know it there's a thousand users with an email that has YOUR email address in the CC. If just one of them is a spammer, your Email address will be in their file for years and years. Spammers also like to hack into other spamers databases to get email addresses, or they sell the ones they have.
