ah yes, the old middle name question. jesus was called on one day and told "son, the name 'jesus christ' doesn't have much of a ring to it. for you to do well in business, you need a middle name" jesus fought this tooth and nail, and not many people know this, but J harbored a secret resentment towards his heavenly father up until the day he died. "middle name?! what the hell is that anyways?", he was once heard saying to his buddies outside the PX late one night. big J vowed that day that if he was to have a middle name, it was going to something HE hand-picked, something that represented HIS individuality and HIS interests, not those of his overbearing and holier than thou father. Hummus -- that would be his middle name. favorite snack. easy to make, tastier than the best dolmeh if done just right. yes, let the word go out throughout all the lands, that Hummus...HUMMUS is my middle name! he exclaimed. it was later shortened to "H", cos hummus is really kind of stupid.

Jesus H. Christ is an example of slang serving as a mild, joking curse. The expression is most commonly used in a wry, sarcastic, cynical, or joking tone, although it may nonetheless be perceived as blasphemy, being a variation of "Jesus Christ". The expression jokingly implies that the "Christ" in "Jesus Christ" is a surname rather than a title ("Christ", meaning anointed, is Greek for "Messiah"). The expression dates to at least the late nineteenth century (although according to Mark Twain it was already old in 1850), and likely originates with the ancient Christian three-letter symbolism IHS (the Christogram).
The phrase "Jesus H. Christ" has been extended in many cases, both as a colloquialism, and in its use in television and film. For example, in the comedy The Blues Brothers, a 1980 film starring John Belushi and Dan Aykroyd, Jake Blues (Belushi) exclaims, "Yes! Yes! Jesus H. Tapdancing Christ, I can see The Light!" in a moment of fervor.

Come on! Do you think for an instant the Jesus had a middle name? no, it is all profanity. Middle names were not commonly used back in the days of Christ.

Not according to the Bible.:- Isaiah 9:6
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
