That is indeed an interesting question. Here is some other usless information:

Hot Pockets in popular culture
The comedian Jim Gaffigan has made fun of Hot Pockets, calling them "a Pop-Tart filled with nasty meat," and saying "they should just come with a roll of toilet paper," implying that they give you diarrhea. During this part of the routine, he sings, "flush pocket," and "diarrhea pocket," a parody of the Hot Pockets slogan.

Mike Myers' character in the Austin Powers trilogy, Dr. Evil, also offers the product to his son, Scott Evil, in 1997's Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery. In the sequel, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, Dr. Evil asks Mini-Me if he would like a Hot Pocket.

Jack McFarland serves these at the cafe that he has set up outside of his apartment on a 2002 episode of the NBC sitcom Will & Grace.

The character Taz 'Rat' Finch in the 2003 film The Core is obsessed with Hot Pockets to the point where he requests them in addition to Xena tapes as payment for "hacking the planet."

Nope, it's still called a "hot pocket" even after it cools. Just like it's still a "hot pocket" when it's in the freezer.

Is it a hot pocket when you first take it out of the freezer? No. Maybe they should rename them to cold/hot/room temperature pockets.
