I heard somewhere that the F-14, F-15, F-16 and F-18's have never been shot down in air-to-air combat, even after engaging hundreds of enemy planes. Is this true?

Well remember that "air to air" combat doesn't include surface to air missiles or AAA, it is these two that usually claim jet aircraft in hostile situations.
