The only way you might if you are a doctor yourself, but if you aren't then I suggest you see a doctor about any new growth. Or even a old growth that has suddenly become larger. Skin cancer is just as dangerous as other cancers and if not properly treated can lead into other serious underlying health problems. Make a appointment ASAP about this problem. Good luck to you! I hope you well.

If you have a skin growth see a doctor. Even if it's not cancer, it should still be removed.

There are 2 types of skin cancer. One is external and can be removed. The other grows internally and twists around muscles and tendons and is not easily removed.

Changes in skin can be a reaction to a medication. I was taking prednisone and had horrible sores that would not heal.

No because you need a expert to examine you..there are many types of skin problems not always cancer..been safe and see someone ASAP because some types of cancer are highly malignant and many are easily removed..but to put your mind at ease see someone soon...I would recommend a Dermatologist

You cut off some of the cells, and look at them under a microscope. It's best to let a doctor do it for you.

absolutely not! you need to have a biopsy done to know exactly what kind of cells make up this growth.
