Would you want a law that helps you but would hurt others? (that would be the marriage law-because of discrimination-those in Utah could marry kids-just the way it is-others will say discrimination) (hard one in my book)
Would you vote for someone on one issue that befits you--even though they are not good on other issues?
I am not bashing-just asking-a friend of ours said he would and I wonder if all feel that way
I am hoping not but please answer.

Its what makes the traditional marriage law-I didn't make it up-it could happen-it is an issue-If we allow this(-I could care less on gays-)we have to allow other non traditional marriages-wish I could get a straight (no pun) answer.

Anyone who says "boo" about this gay marriage issue is instantly labeled a hate monger. The truth is, the gay movement is causing a lot of trouble in their quest. It can only harm our society in a myriad of ways. They, as usual, are being selfish.

Your reasoning is off. The legalization of gay marriage would make it legal for two consenting ADULTS to marry regardless of gender. There is no reason to involve a slippery slope scenario of it opening the door for adults to marry kids.

So, homosexuals are not asking for a law to be passed that would help them but hurt others. They are asking to have the same rights as any other citizen...sexual orientation should not be grounds for treating people like second class citizens.

btw, I'm not homosexual...I just care about equal rights.

There's a difference between two adults of the same sex wanting to have the legal rights of two adults of different sexes, and an adult wanting to marry a child.

What you're suggesting is too similar to those people who say that if we let gays marry, its a gateway to people wanting to marry family members or animals... *shakes head*

I would vote for someone who had good overall plans for some heavy change, but if they were against gay marriage, I probably would not vote for them, because I would think they were close minded.

Yea, yea. No offense, however I spotted that a few homosexual proper activists by and large attempt to make us consider that everybody in historical past is secretly homosexual. It is the one rationalization that you've got for whatever. Irregardless of the way you consider approximately homosexuality, does not it look that any person with a one measurement suits all cause of the whole lot look to be a crack pot?
