That's what HF radio is for. Fire up a KW on HF and you will be talking not only over the whole USA, but all over the world. But get your license first! Hams who have studied and worked hard to pass their license tests don't take kindly to bootleggers!

You have amature satalites that are repeaters.
Of course, if you have the knowlege to pass the amature radio exams, then you would probably already know that.

Repeaters are used for v.h.f. and u.h.f.

Those frequencies are for short range/local communications.

Not on HAM radio...... but the TURKEY radio has some....
